Mac was always so respectful when he talked about Ari to the media. Like why would her mom like pete anyways? He seemed like such a shitty dude the way he talks about her daughter in interviews and on social media.
And I certainly don't believe that at all. Like did she have to shade Mac like that? That was so fucked up. So of course she is implying that her mom didn't ever like Mac. But she also said that her mom loves and adores Pete and her mom never liked any of her other boyfriends. That means the whole time she was dating Mac she was actually in love with some other dude she barely has had any interaction with? Wtf? I don't believe it.Īlso during her latest interview with Zach Sang she said the same thing about wanting to marry pete the first time she met him. Like on fallon saying that she knew she was going to marry pete since the first time she met him in the SNL writer's room while she was dating Ricky (her bf before Mac). I thought she was being really shitty by getting engaged to pete so quickly and I cringed during every interview she did after that. I'm an Ari stan and I really hated the way she handled the break up. His family doesn’t speak to her either, so maybe they just don’t give a shit about his exes, especially right now. I don’t know who broke up with who, but I don’t believe a word that his ex, Nomi has been saying. I don’t think that was their only issue in the relationship with them, but was a huge part. He’d be sober and then go on a full out binge. Mac took drugs to the extreme, he didn’t just do them in small portions at a time, and that is fucking scary to watch. At some point in time, you have to walk away, and I don’t disagree with what she had said about not being a babysitter and how scary it was for her.
Not because it wasn’t true, but because she didn’t need to air all of his business out like that. Karen Civil called her out for her statement about the breakup. Did she handle the breakup good? Nope, not one bit. Either way, she has got to be just insanely gutted over his death.
So if that is true, which I tend to believe, then that played an even bigger part in the split too. Supposedly she was due in September/October. There were rumors that she was pregnant late last year/earlier in the year, and lost the baby a month or so before they broke up. They’d been in each other’s since they were what, 18/19? dating off and on that whole time before making it an official relationship. I truly believe they loved and adored each other, and possibly were each other’s soulmates. I’m not an Ariana Stan, I don’t really care for her at all, but it’s really irritating how she’s being dragged through the mud over Mac’s death.
